Angus Reed founded Prudentia Investments in 2003 with a vision of creating Australia’s leading integrated property and investment management group.

An accountant by training, Angus has more than 20 years experience in the property industry, during which time he has earned a reputation for delivering quality products and innovative solutions. As Managing Director of Prudentia, Angus has principal responsibility for deal origination and relationship management with investors and capital providers.

Angus’ commitment to sustainable property development has seen Prudentia take a leading role in Australia’s rapidly expanding sustainable energy industry via its investment in solar solutions company Nu Energy. Under Angus’ leadership, Prudentia is now leveraging its strength in alternative energy supply and installation to create next-generation Integrated Sustainable Communities and Developments in Victoria and around Australia. These include current projects such as Victoria’s largest master planned marina community, Wyndham Harbour, The Range at Croydon, an innovative housing development in eastern Melbourne and Hutton Rise, a residential subdivision in Prospect Launceston. Prudentia have also developed Cambridge Park in Tasmania comprising Tasmania’s first integrated homemaker centre and Hydro Tasmania Consulting building, which was the first building in Tasmania to receive recognition as a 5-Star Green Star Office Design rated premises from the Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA).

Angus has extensive experience in the acquisition, management and development of commercial, retail, industrial and hotel property. Starting his career in commercial property sales, Angus went on to join property management company Australia Asia Management (AAM). In his role as Executive Director of AAM he oversaw a property fund with assets under management of more than $210 million and 6000 investors.

In addition to his executive roles, Angus is a passionate supporter of the Carlton Football Club, a donor to the Royal Children’s Hospital and the National Gallery of Victoria. His interests include architecture, boating and the arts.
